This device will arrive with Android 5.1 (Lollipop) it is not yet confirmed whether the device will be getting Android 6 and Android 7 updates. It will be a dual SIM device with both SIM slots supporting GSM SIM cards. In the era of nano SIM, this device is coming with the facility of housing two micro SIM cards. Indian 4G users should relax if you’re waiting for this device and confused whether it will support 4G.
Yes, the device will be a true 4G device, but Xiaomi hasn’t announced if the device is VoLTE enabled. For more security fingerprint sensor is provided in this device and yes, it will unlock pretty fast as said by the company.
Design and Display
Redmi Note 3 Pro is a device with 5.5-inch giant full HD display. It will weigh 164 grams, which wasn’t expected by the fans. It is obvious that for people who spend more time on phone calls this much weight will create a problem. On continuous conversation for long time user might find the device bulky.
The case material of case and back is metal, and there are 3 colour variants available, which are gold, gray and silver. The pixel density of the display of this device is 401ppi producing sharper, clearer and brighter images. The display is IPS LCD type with capacitive touch and multi-touch support. It is not yet confirmed if the display is protected by Corning’s Gorilla glass or not. For this device, the screen to body ratio is 72.98℅.
Performance
This device performs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 MSM8956. It is a hexacore processor with dual-core Cortex A72 chip clocked at 1.7GHz chip and quad-core A53 chip clocked at 1.2GHz. This processor has a 64-bit architecture which ensures faster manipulation of data. The graphics on this device will be handled by Adreno 510 GPU. High-end Android games can be played with ease and without lag. The device is backed by 2GB RAM for better performance and multi-tasking.
Storage
Redmi Note 3 Pro will be introduced in two storage variants 16GB and 32GB onboard memory. It is almost impossible to believe also that the device will not support the external MicroSD card. This might be the disappointment for fans. One cannot do anything except wait and watch what truly arrives after the release.

This device has two cameras front and rear. The rear camera is 16MP with CMOS sensor and phase detection autofocus. The aperture of a rear camera is f2.0, and a dual LED flash is provided to capture bright images in low-light mode. Rear camera captures images in 4616 x 3464 pixels. In the settings panel, one can find an ISO control option and default storage path. Images can be captured in High Dynamic Range, HDR mode and continuous shooting mode.

Videos can be recorded on rear camera in Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080) @ 30fps and HD resolution (1280 x 720) @ 120fps. The front camera on this device is 5MP and captures bright selfies even in low-light conditions.

This device is powered by a 4000mAh giant battery. It can easily last for one and a half or two days depending on the individual’s usage. The battery is Li-polymer type and is not user-replaceable.

This device is a dual SIM device both the SIM to be installed should be micro sized. This device will support 4G(Indian bands), 3G and 2G networks. Wi-Fi connectivity standards are 802.11a/ac/b/g/n/n at 5GHz. This device will act as a portable hotspot and will support Wi-Fi direct. Sensors such as fingerprint sensors, light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, and compass are provided for enhanced user experience.
Verdict
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro 16GB price in India is expected to be 11k-12k. This device is bang for a buck if the storage inconvenience is neglected.
