Social security and reimbursement of dental care
Many procedures are covered by social security under the category of oral care. In these cases, we note the support of the order of 70%. However, some treatments are not covered by this same security. This is the case with the placement of dental veneers.
Indeed, this type of intervention is considered purely aesthetic. Patients who use it do so to have a better smile. Therefore, social security does not reimburse the costs that are incurred in the process. Thus, mutuals are alternatives to social security.
Mutuals reimbursing dental veneers
Although mutuals are perfect alternatives to social security, they do not all offer reimbursement of costs related to the placement of dental veneers. Fortunately, you can count on some who reimburse you for the costs incurred.
The April Mutual
Even if there are not many mutuals that offer reimbursement for dental veneers, some offer attractive formulas. This is the case, for example, of April, a mutual company that supports you in your dental care.
It offers coverage options to both individuals and professionals. For your reimbursements for the installation of dental veneers, you will have the choice between 7 main formulas.
These include the formulas:
- Access for 20.67 euros per month
- Essential for 22.20 euros per month
- Balance for 26.74 euros per month
- Medium for 35.37 euros per month
- Comfort for 44.60 euros per month
- Full at 54.47 euros per month
- Premium at 70.17 euros per month.
As you can imagine, each formula supports a certain reimbursement ceiling. For the placement of dental veneers, the Access and Essential formulas allow you to be reimbursed at 100% BR (reimbursement basis).
The Balance formula offers reimbursement of around 125% BR. If your fees are exceeded, you will also be covered. The Medium and Comfort formulas offer reimbursement of 150% BR against 200% BR for those called Integral and Premium.
The mutual Apivia
The Apivia mutual, like the previous one, offers reimbursement formulas for your dental veneers. From a monthly subscription of 37 euros, you have the choice between 6 levels of cover.
However, if these do not seem sufficient to you, you can extend the coverage. For this, you can choose from 4 optional packs. The blankets are suitable for young people, and even retirees.
Cocoon Mutual
Mutual Cocoon is a subsidiary of the Adelaide group. It stands out with 80 years of experience in the sector. With this structure, you have the possibility of subscribing without a waiting period. Thus, as soon as you subscribe, you can start benefiting from the guarantees offered.
Cocoon offers two coverage formulas. These are the Medium and Premium plans. The first offer allows you to enjoy a cashback of up to 250% BR. As for the Premium formula, a reimbursement of 500% BR is offered for the installation of your veneers.
The offers offered are flexible enough to allow you to opt for guarantees according to your real needs and your budget (from 49 euros).
The Generali Mutual
Generali is one of the few mutuals that can cover the installation of your dental veneers. With a minimum subscription of 34 euros, the mutual insurance company offers you 5 formulas that adapt to all health profiles. You will necessarily find the conditions that suit you.
For a good subscriber experience, Generali offers a third-party payment service. From then on, the patient is reimbursed as soon as possible. For your registration, you will not have to observe a latency period. This allows you to enjoy your subscription in the moments following the signing of the contract.
Coverage of consultation and conventional care
The consultation at the dentist is reimbursed at 70% on the basis of the convention rate by the health insurance. The dental health mutual allows the management of the co-payment and any excess fees.
To cover the expenses relating to the consultation of a dentist, the devitalization of the teeth, and the care of cavities, opt for mutual health insurance which proposes an annual fixed reimbursement. It is also interesting to choose the mutual dental health insurance that offers reimbursement as a percentage of at least 400% of the convention rate for several types of care added to a complementary package.
For security and satisfaction, carefully analyze the deductibles, exclusions of guarantees, and the waiting period before choosing your mutual dental health contract.
